AB: Heavy snowfall (up to 25-40 cm) will continue this evening along Trans-Canada Highway in Banff National Park. In Canmore 10-25 cm is expected.
Wind gusts in exposed areas will reach 70 km/h early this evening resulting in poor visibility in blowing snow. Conditions will improve overnight tonight as the winds ease and the snow begins to taper off.
Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
