Strong west to northwest winds, with gusts of 110 km/h, this afternoon and tonight. Strong winds will move into Saskatchewan this afternoon and move eastward across the southern half of the province. Gusts as high as 110 km/h will occur.
The strong winds will subside below warning criteria by Thursday morning, but will remain blustery through the remainder of Thursday.
A band of freezing rain is moving eastward across central Saskatchewan this afternoon, between Highway 16 and Highway 1. The freezing rain will end this afternoon.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
