M’Chigeeng First Nation

Located on Manitoulin Island on Lake Huron's the North Channel in Ontario.The First Nation formerly known as West Bay, changed to M'Chigeeng (Pronounced Shi-geeng) settled on Manitoulin Island in the mid-1800s when many Anishinabek from the north shore area relocated.
