This site overlooks High Falls, a waterfall on the Onaping River that drops 150 feet into the Sudbury Basin. Jackson, one of Canada’s famed Group of Seven painters that painted the rugged north, had painted this stunning waterfall.
Anderson Farm Museum

The Anderson family came to the Sudbury area from Finland in the early 1900s. The Museum consists of a carefully restored dairy farm, and includes horse-drawn machinery and a windmill power generator.

Flour Mill Heritage Museum

This museum is in a 1903 clapboard house once owned by the Manitoba and Ontario Flour Mill Company, for housing the company’s foreman. Exhibits include antique furniture, early hand tools and weapons, as well as farm implements.

Notres Dames de Lourdes

This shrine was founded in 1907 by Frediric Romanet as a tribute to Our Lady of Lourdes for helping his wife recover from an illness. The grotto is 20 feet high and 10 feet wide, halfway up a hill overlooking Elgin Street and Lake Ramsey.
