Halfway between Souris and East Point is Basin Head, high on a sandy bluff protecting a basin from the ocean. The Basin Head Fisheries Museum recounts  several hundred years of fishing history with displays of antique fishing equipment and includes reconstructing fish shanties and a lobster cannery. You can also take guided tours of the sand dunes.<BR>
