This town was once known as Eskwader, which is Mi’kmaq for “the fishing place,” and is home to commercial and sport fishing, leaving from nearby Murray River.

Features over 3000 antiques dating back to the late 18th century, including complete kitchen fixtures and utensils over 100 years, old gramophones, over 100 lamps, bottle collection, large assortment of crystal, crockery, china. Bedroom of the 1800s, and farm machinery. Open July 1 to Labour Day, daily, 9 am-6 pm. Admission.
