Anima Nipissing
The Anima Nipissing River begins at the south end of Anima Nipissing Lake at an elevation of 300 m (980 ft). It flows southwest into McLean Lake then into Red Squirrel Lake and then to its mouth at Ferguson Bay of Lake Temagami. This wildlife sanctuary is home to a variety of animals, including bears, wolves, and birds of prey. Visitors can take a guided tour of the sanctuary to see these animals in their natural habitat.

This park offers camping, swimming, and boating opportunities on the shores of Lake Temagami, as well as hiking trails and interpretive programs. Visit Temagami Island, a small island on Lake Temagami features a historic lighthouse, hiking trails, and camping opportunities.
Temagami Tower Trail and Temagami Fire Tower Lookout

(To access the Anima Nippissing Fire Tower trail, park at the third turn-around on the last road to the left before reaching the Government dock on Anima Nipissing Lake.)
This hiking trail takes visitors through the forest to the top of the Temagami Fire Tower, offering spectacular views of the town and surrounding wilderness.
