Abbotsford's Regional Airport
Over 225,000 passengers passed through Fraser Valley’s Abbotsford Airport, or “YXX” (its international aeronautical designation), which is serviced by a number of airlines. In-terminal services include a snack bar, car rental counters, visitor information office and cash machine.

To get to the airport, travel on Highway #1 to Mt. Lehman Road (Exit 83), head south. Mt. Lehman Road leads directly to the airport., and follow the directional signs to the airport entrance For passengers flying from the Abbotsford Airport Terminal parking is free.

Parking options at Abbotsford Airport are quite varied. You are allowed 5 minutes for curbside drop-off or pick-up (you may not leave the vehicle unattended). There is hourly/daily short term parking next to the YXX Terminal, which costs 75 cents per half hour up to $6 per day). The Long Term Lot is south west of the YXX Terminal offering guests better rates for long term stays, at a cost of $6 per day or $30 per week. You can pay for parking by cash, American Express, Master Card, and Visa. An ATM and change machine are located in the YXX Terminal. Some Abbotsford area accommodation operators offer free parking as you travel from YXX by purchasing one room night; a ground transfer between the YXX Terminal and accommodation property is usually included.

Abbotsford Airport: Arrivals | Departures

Air Canada Regional (1-888-247-2262) offers flights between Abbotsford and Calgary, three times daily, as well as flights to other Canadian and American cities. Airspeed Aviation (1-604-852-9245) offers weekday scheduled service direct to Victoria (YYJ) using Cessna airplanes. WestJet Airlines (1-800-538-5696) offers daily scheduled service to several airports across Western Canada, with flights to Calgary and Edmonton Airports 5 to 10 times daily, where you can connect to other parts of the country.

If you need to get to & from the Abbotsford airport, there are two major shuttle buses: Abbotsford Airport Shuttle (870-4864) which services Abbotsford, Mission and Chilliwack, and Airport Link Ltd (852-2399) which services Vancouver Airport, Richmond, Surrey, Cloverdale, Langley, Aldergrove, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack

Pitt Meadows Regional Airport (YPK)

There is also a smaller regional airport just west of Maple Ridge/ Pitt Meadows. It is 2.5 km east of the junction of the Pitt and Fraser Rivers (with a breathtaking view of the Golden Ears Mountains) and is only a 45 minute drive east from downtown Vancouver. Pitt Meadows Regional Airport occupies a 753 acre site with three runways and float plane launch and dock. Langley Regional Airport (YNJ)

The normal hours of operation are 0800 to 2200 hrs seven days a week and the airport has a 2,100′ north-south paved runway and a 2,300′ east-west grass strip. At the east end of the Fraser Valley is a small airport, at Hope, with a new Flight Centre Building, complete with waiting area and washrooms. This airport is home to the Vancouver Soaring Association.
