Manitoba Speed Traps, Radar Traps, Photo Radar on the Trans-Canada Highway

Speed Traps, Radar Traps, Photo Radar Overview

Radar detectors and laser detectors are illegal to use in Manitoba. The government of Manitoba is planning to extend the controversial photo radar and red light camera systems to highways and other municipalities throughout the province. The current legislation that allows for the cameras to be installed in Winnipeg also permits the devices to be used in other parts of the province.

Please CONTACT US if the information on this page is no longer accurate, and you want to suggest adding or removing noted speed traps in your area or where you have recently traveled.

Speed Traps  along the Trans-Canada Highway 1

Highway 1, Winnipeg Perimeter – Headingly
