The Oakville-Burlington region has a number of craft breweries and wineries that create unique beverages. You are welcome to take a tour, and visit their shops afterwards (samples may only be served, and alcoholic beverages may only be sold to those 19 years of age or older).

The ales at Cameron’s have won awards at both the Toronto Wine and Cheese Show and The Great Canadian Festival of Beer. They garnered some attention with their innovative packaging – a nine-pack, nicknamed the Cameron’s Cube. Take a tour (book ahead!), then cart home a Cube, as Cameron’s motto is “6 is not enough”.

Trafalgar is a craft brewery founded in 1993 as Trafalgar Brewing Company. They have recently adjusted the name to reflect the fruit based honey meads thaey are brewing. Visit the brewery for a tour daily from 10am – 5pm (including most major holidays), complete with retail store and the Tied House Pub. They have won several awards:
